CONCORD (Collaborative Online Computing for Research and Development) is a COST Action dedicated to advancing research in large-scale public distributed computing infrastructures and their practical applications.

The Action brings together experts from academia, industry, and public institutions to investigate emerging opportunities in volunteer computing, grid infrastructures and collaborative research platforms.

Objectives



CONCORD aims to:

  • Promote research on volunteer computing platforms.
  • Improve reliability of distributed processing systems.
  • Support collaborative scientific applications.
  • Encourage cross-border research cooperation.
  • Investigate future large-scale computing models.
